Lenee Alexander: How to Make a Zipper Coin Purse (17 short videos)
- Start by cutting fabric pieces for the outside and lining of the purse. The outside is 7 1/2 by 12 inches, and the lining is 7 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches. (Videos 2, 3, & 4)
- Attach the zipper to the outside fabric (Video 5)
- Stitch the lining to the top of the outside fabric, leaving a hole to turn the purse when you’re done (Videos 6 & 7)
- Top stitch the zipper (Video 8)
- If you’re using a separating zipper, attach the zipper key (Video 9)
- Pin the sides and sew (Videos 10 & 11)
- Turn the purse (Video 15)
- Close the hole where you turned the purse (Video 16)
Note that Lenee makes the bottom of her purse rounded (Videos 12-14) but I did not.
