Deb's Lunch ... and Dinner and Breakfast too

My weekend of [almost] nothing but cookies

December 8, 2019 by ds83473@gmail.com

Pics now, explanations later. No time; pics will just have to stand on their own!

Drooly spritz

Burnt spritz

Note and cookie gun from my brother from a few years ago – I did buy the same one for myself, but I returned it

Vanilla spritz trees

Chocolate spritz

Pressed cookies I made with cookie stamps when the cookie gun gave up. Mark fixed it Saturday morning but we might not know till next year how effective the fix is.

Linzer thumbprints

Pffernuse – the bowl of dough seemed endless

Made all the gluten free peanut butter as stars instead of sandwiches because it’s quicker

New this year because I have a lot of almond paste – almond crescents dipped in chocolate. Pretty and fun to make. Keeper, I think

And that’s not counting Sunday, ruggelach and bar cookies.

And somewhere’s in there, Saturday afternoon, I think, I made the Rose’s Crescents, and what I am now calling pecan snowballs, trying to be culturally sensitive, avoiding other names with a country in them. Though Mark says the pecan lobby could come after me. They’ll go after Paula Deen first, I says.
