Deb's Lunch ... and Dinner and Breakfast too

Not going back

June 7, 2020 by ds83473@gmail.com

I took off the week of June 1-June 7 for posting my own content, and tried to promote voices of people of color.

This mural was painted by local artist Daniella Echeverria on the boarded exterior of Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Here’s what she has to say about it.

Today I kept thinking about going back over the week, and doing my normal food related posts, and know what? I’m not going back. Just doesn’t seem to matter right now what I made for dinner Wednesday night.

Let’s just go forward from here.

Killer Mike Loves You

Although I don’t know what it says about white privilege that the version of Killer Mike that Johnny Depp put on Instagram looks better than this Channel 2 version.

And I just got headlines that the Minneapolis city council voted to de-fund the police and think of something else.
