Deb's Lunch ... and Dinner and Breakfast too

Cookie Catchup

December 21, 2020 by ds83473@gmail.com

OK so, I started writing this on Saturday, when I finished grading at about 3:00PM. Yay!

And am now finishing it up on Monday afternoon, after spending the day cleaning up email, finally writing that recommendation letter for the student who asked for it 2 months ago, delivering cookies, one last minute online Xmas gift order, and monitoring cookie pickups at the Cookie Fundraiser Leftover Blowout. I started with four big trays of bagged & boxed cookies, and there’s one not quite full one out there now.

Oh, yea, and tracking my cookie boxes that I shipped last Tuesday, and many are still in transit. Somehow, John & Al’s dad in California got his Thursday, and also one friend in Chicago, although nobody else in Chicago got theirs that soon. And everyone in Pittsburgh got theirs Saturday or Sunday, and also Cincinnati and North Carolina have been delivered, but not NYC or Hudson River Valley, Washington DC, or Boston, or Seattle.

On Saturday morning I scanned through my cookie photos on my phone camera roll, and thought they looked pretty good – so here’s a slideshow (not without some repeats of pics I have already posted but hey, it’s the Andy Warhol way, “images are worth repeating”).
