These ladders belonged to John &amp; Al&#8217;s dad, Jeff. I kind of inherited them when we split up. They moved with all of us between two houses in Madison, then to Chicago and finally back to Madison with me and the kids, and between two more houses in Madison. When we lived on Birch Ave. in Westmorland, the garage was small and I crunched the fender of the car, the old grey Toyota Corolla wagon, the last stick shift car I owned, twice, by hooking it on the step ladder while backing out of the garage.
